Please note each piece may differ from one to the next, and to the 'Chasing Fireflies' brooch pictured. The design features a mix of terrifically textured resins which can differ from piece to piece, as well as a number of smaller parts that will feature different colours depending on the piece you're lucky enough to receive. All this means is that your gorgeous new brooch is going to be a certified one of a kind.

You would not believe your eyes, at the beauty of these fireflies. Hand-assembled from jaw-dropping glitter marble resins and featuring hand-painted details, this is the perfect piece for those starry nights.

STORY

It may not come as much of a surprise, but most species of firefly are nocturnal. Our favourite is the aggressively deceptive ‘Femme Fatale’.

INFO
Original Design: Sally Land
Height 63 mm x Width 47 mm
Insects & Bugs - January 2020

Each piece is made from laser cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of the designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be finger print marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand mixed nature of the resins in our designs it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps, necklace chains and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.

CARE
Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
